From 15th – 19th May this year Andy Thompson will walk 235 miles from TEL’s birthplace at Tremadog to Bovington Camp to raise funds for a number of mental health charities under the banner of Marching 4 Minds.
Through the kindness and generosity of Nicole Wilson, The T. E. Lawrence Society will make available to the public the important and valuable T. E. Lawrence Studies website.
The Society are delighted to announce that the 2026 Symposium will take place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, Godstow Road, Wolvercote Roundabout, Oxford, OX2 8AL over the weekend of 18 – 20 September 2026.
Monday 19th May saw a much larger gathering than usual at Moreton Cemetery to mark the 90th anniversary of TEL’s death. Following the series of talks at Wareham Museum on Saturday 17th, which was accompanied by an exhibition of Luz Rivara’s art, a number of Society members stayed in the area.

A manuscript has recently resurfaced which solves a minor mystery in the composition of Lawrence’s preface to Revolt in the Desert (1927)
